What we collect

Andaman Food Hub is a community-curated guide to food spots along the Andaman coast. The only personal data we collect is what people voluntarily submit:

• A display name attached to a submitted listing
• Photos uploaded to the submission form
• The text and metadata of the listing itself

We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

How submissions are reviewed

Every submission lands in a moderation queue and is only published after an editor approves it. We may edit or remove listings for accuracy, safety, or copyright reasons.

Security controls in place

• Row-level security on every database table — public access is scoped to approved listings only.
• Admin-only access to moderation tools, gated by a server-side role check.
• Internal backend functions are not callable by anonymous users.
• Leaked-password protection (HIBP) is enabled on all sign-ins.
• Uploaded photos are restricted to common image formats and served from a managed CDN.

Your rights

If you'd like a listing or photo you submitted removed, contact us and we'll take it down within a reasonable timeframe.
